I just wanted to thank everybody for coming out to the cd release shows last week. Both the Toronto show and London show were a success. Though I was so sick we almost had to cancel, the show's were great and my voice held out for the most part. I will be posting some video on my youtube channel of the London Cd release show, it was an incredible night and I thank every single one of you for your support.

We all fall on hard times, and we all handle them in different ways. Some of us use drugs and alcohol, others ignore and keep it trapped inside, we do whatever we can to cope and find comfort. Most of the time our methods of healing lead us down a path of self destruction. We become so consumed by grief and defeat that our medicine becomes our poison, and hope seems beyond our reach. Some people have good friends and family who become the hand to pull them out, but not all of us are this fortunate. When you feel alone, trapped, and suffocated by the choke of sorrow, that no one cares, and maybe you are better off hiding with the shadows....listen to your favourite song. Music will always be there for you; it will never hurt you, leave you, or take away from you. You are never alone. Music is hope.

Hello, my name is Chad Michael Stewart. Thank you for taking an interest in my creation. You have no idea how much it means to me that you are finding some sort of comfort in what I create. Whether it is, happiness, sadness, inspiration, or you just plain like the music. That being said, I am also terrified of you. It is not easy for me to spill my life story onto a continual canvas, which I fear will become transparent the more I reveal. My life, like most people, has been a constant struggle within. I grew up always learning the hard way, mistake after mistake. Trusting the wrong people, and pushing away the right ones. Life to me is a dream we keep chasing, that cannot be caught, the journey beats us down, we bleed, we hurt, we hate, we love, but we keep getting back up and trying again.... These songs are a journal of experiences, mistakes and misfortunes, tragedies and triumphs. These songs are my life story. Maybe some of you can relate and find comfort in knowing that there is somebody else that has walked in moments of your shoes. Like the songs that reached out and pulled me in at times of weakness, the songs that lifted my heart and gave me the strength within, I hope to you, I can be that song. Thank you for listening.

The other person that brings these songs to life is Scott parker. A very talented musician and friend. The melodies that resurrect from his fingertips make my skin crawl, and send shivers up my spine. We have spent countless hours together making something that we believe no one else ever has.
